The photography system is a primary focus and its telescope, once attached to the camera, acts as a telephoto lens . The magnification will depend on the focal length of your telescope.

This system is recommended to take short exposure photographs, both planetary and deep sky. In order to take long exposure photos and deep sky objects, it is recommended to use an off-axis guide and a German equatorial mount telescope.
