The telescopes optically invert the image, which at an astronomical level does not matter too much. However, if we want to make terrestrial observations with our telescope it is essential to add this accessory since without it we will see a north-south deformity or what is the same we will see the objects upside down.

The inverting prism of 45º will be accompanied with the eyepiece that we want to use or we can add other additional accessories such as an image duplicator such as a barlow lens or a T-adapter for photography. This particular model is for the exclusive use of the Celestron Nexstar 4 SE telescope model.
