Instrument used to measure a certain volume or prepare mixtures and solutions. It is used to measure an exact volume of liquid, up to the level of gauging (line), located in the neck of the flask. There are class A, which are used in analytical chemistry and those of class B, of lower quality and precision, used for routine laboratory work. They can go with or without a cap.
