The pocket photometer MW13 is a digital and compact meter for the concentration of iodine in a liquid medium, with a unit of measurement in ppm .

It is a device widely used in the control of water quality , especially in the treatment of wastewater and potabilization, since iodine is a powerful disinfectant .
