The Celestron NexStar 130SLT telescope is a Reflector or Newtonian type with a motorized altazimuth mount and GO TO automatic system. The 130mm aperture offers 30% more brightness than the 114mm models. This Newtonian model and its mirrors offer full color views, making it especially suitable for astronomy. The Nexstars models are easy to assemble and above all to handle, in a few minutes you will be observing stars and planets. It has a database of 10,000 objects and an ultra fast automatic alignment system called SkyAlign. The SkyAlign alignment function allows you to align on three bright objects quickly and easily : enter the date, time and place and point to 3 light objects that you should not even know about and it is automatically aligned.
