Celestron NexStar Evolution 8 "HD Telescope

The Nexstar Evolution 8 "HD Telescope is an 8" ( 203.2mm ) Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Model Astronomical Telescope incorporating advanced Comma-Free Edge HD optics and StarBright XLT optical treatment. This combination of HD optics and special treatment achieve a significant improvement in image definition, color, brightness and contrast , in short, it eliminates any type of chromatic aberration in order to enjoy a perfect observation of space . This treatment is also highly valued by astrophotographers , achieving higher quality and sharper photographs.
The telescope has an aperture of 203.2mm , a focal length of 2032mm , a focal ratio of f / 10 and comes complete with two eyepieces, 40 and 12.5mm (51X, 163X) . The red led Star Pointer Pro finder gives us greater precision when searching for an object and / or orienting ourselves.
The mount is altazimuth fork , with the possibility of attaching an equatorial wedge to transform it into an equatorial one. This mount is robust, capable of supporting the 8 "optical tube with great stability and a very stable stainless steel tripod .
The most special feature of this telescope is the integrated wi-fi system through the portal or SkyPortal App . With this system you can guide your telescope with your mobile device, be it a smartphone or tablet with an Android or IOS system . This management system is very practical for observations in the field, since they facilitate orientation and monitoring. In addition to the Wi-fi system, the Nexstar Evolution 8 HD incorporates the StarSense Auto Align alignment system, this is a revolutionary system that uses a built-in photography camera, which takes three pictures of 3 celestial points, which already serve the telescope to its positioning, alignment and guidance in just 3 minutes . The same system offers a space tour and a database of more than 120,000 objects .
The power is provided by a rechargeable lithium battery, which lasts 10 hours. It can be charged using a USB charger connected to the mount.
