It facilitates reading thanks to its dual measurement method: by inserting the probe tip, or pin, into the material, or by sensor measurement without a pin.

The REED R6018 hygrometer allows the reading of humidity in solid materials. It has four modes of operation distinguishing whether the measurement is performed using the sensor with the pin, by penetration, or if the sensor is used without a pin. Additionally, it is selected whether to measure wood or other construction materials.

Its screen design allows humidity to be viewed depending on the selected operating mode and the evaluated material. The instrument displays a system of icons to indicate if the humidity levels found are low, medium or high, activating an audible alarm that increases in frequency if it detects increases in the humidity levels measured.

Its use is recommended for installers, allowing the moisture content of floors and walls to be followed. Also in department stores, hardware stores, carpentry, etc.
