The Meade LX70 mount is a sturdy , slow-motion control mount made of premium steel. Ideal for astronomical observation as well as for the first contact with astrophotography .
It incorporates controls of slow movement and prepared for a fine and easy adjustment even in difficult conditions, for example if you use gloves. The tracking is smooth thanks to the bronze gears and has alzimuth and straight altitude adjustments as well as a spirit level to ensure a good leveling of the mount. Includes latitude micrometric graduation rings and accessory tray.

Includes a Vixen-type dovetail for mounting tubes up to 9kg, changing optical tubes is very easy . This mount is compatible with 5 "refractors, 6 and 8" reflectors and 6 "Maksutov-Cassegrain.
