The aneroid barometer is one of the most classic meteorological instruments that exists, but not for that reason less useful. It remains a reference instrument for controlling atmospheric pressure.
The aneroid barometer is that barometer in which the atmospheric pressure is measured through a metal plate that in turn moves the needles inside the barometer, thus marking the pressure at that moment. It is a practical and precise instrument.
The barometer will have to be adjusted to the reduced atmospheric pressure at sea level and then calibrated from time to time, only by gently moving the screw on the back.
