Conventional Rain Gauges

The conventional rain gauge is that instrument for measuring precipitation formed by the receiver, the conductive tube and the collection container.

It is widely used to collect rain and thus be able to accurately determine the amount of precipitation accumulated during a given period of time.
We find totalizing rain gauges of different capacities, from 40mm the most basic, to 280mm if you want the highest capacity. If you can frequently consult the data and empty the rain gauge with one of lesser capacity, it will be worth it, if you locate it far or in a second residence you will have to choose the rain gauges of greater capacity, so that you do not lose any drop.
