The digital rain gauges work thanks to a rocker system. The rain falls into the reception funnel, strains and reaches the rocker, it fills and overturns. Each dump is electrically transmitted and is equivalent to a rainfall record of 0.2mm / o, 5mm or 1mm depending on the configuration of the rain gauge. Then, the value is relayed to the indoor unit, which displays it on the screen, just as it happens in automatic stations.
