Eyepieces and Objectives

This is so because the eyepiece is the lens placed on top of the microscope (where the observer places the eye and depending on whether there are one or two eyepieces, the microscope will be monocular or binocular), which allows the image formed by the lens magnified. There are eyepieces that provide different magnifications to suit the needs of the observer.

For its part, the objective fulfills an essential function in the microscope since it is the piece (placed near the observed preparation) that actually produces the magnification of the images of the analyzed samples. The lenses are attached to the revolver and more than one can be used (it is recommended to place them clockwise).
