Hellman rain gauges

It is named after one of the world's best-known meteorologists, Gustav Johann Georg Hellmann, who invented its design.

Hellmann rain gauges are known because they comply with the standards of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), making them the most widely used. It consists of two aluminum cups that are coupled to each other to collect precipitation with the best of qualities. A smaller inner container is responsible for collecting the water that drains through the reception funnel.

The measurement of precipitation and the test piece that is associated with the rain gauge is always in line with the reception surface, which can be either 100cm2 in the 120mm capacity model or 200cm2 in the 200mm capacity model. This 200cm2 model is the one that is technically considered official.

Here we offer you these traditional rain gauges in large and small sizes, get hold of them!
