An analog outdoor weather station has to be weather resistant, so they are made of stainless steel, aluminum or other resistant material.
They are used to measure outdoor environmental conditions, mainly the basic ones such as temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. They should preferably be located in a shady place and not completely exposed to rain.
Of all the outdoor stations, the most complete are the official meteorological observatories, accredited by the WMO for the meteorological and climatic control of your town or city.
