Fixed installation anemometers are indicated for professional meteorological observation either for terrestrial or nautical meteorological installations.
They are normally made up of the vane (direction) and the blades (speed) or cups, in mobile equipment or they can also be fixed or non-mobile equipment that measures by means of ultrasound. With these equipment we can know very precisely the speed and direction of the wind.
Some of the models also have a temperature and humidity sensor integrated in the equipment
