The T2 ring is an essential accessory for astronomical photography, it is located between the T adapter and the user's reflex camera.
The T2 ring is specific for each type and model of camera, due to the special thread with the camera body. It is adapted to take primary focus photography.
At the other end, it is threaded with the T adapter, which is fitted to the eyepiece holder or threaded to an intermediate T adapter ring.
